A guy is a boy by birth, a man by age, but a gentleman by choice

They say – Being a MALE is a matter of birth. Being a MAN is a matter of age. But being a GENTLEMAN is a matter of choice.

I believe the quote above to be true. The society has generally adopted the term “gentleman” to mean any man who dresses well in suits and tie, looks good and carries himself very well with confidence, but in reality, this is far from the true meaning of the term “gentleman”.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t blame the society in any way for assuming that a person is a gentleman just because of his looks or appearance, after all, that’s the tricky thing about FIRST IMPRESSIONS.

Most people will judge you within the first 7 seconds of meeting you and would form an opinion about you instantly based on your appearance, demeanor, body language and most importantly how you are dressed.

But here is the thing…For a True Gentleman, looking good is only half the battle. Being a gentleman is about etiquette and decorum. It is a lifestyle choice which you must LIVE, rather than simply Be ACTING like one anytime you need to.
