Evening Routine | How Successful Entrepreneurs Spend Their Nights

By  |

“I constantly see people rise in life who are not the smartest, sometimes not even the most diligent, but they are learning machines. They go to bed every night a little wiser than they were when they got up and boy does that help, particularly when you have a long run ahead of you.”

– Charlie Munger-

What you do before you go to bed is crucial for the way you feel the morning after!

In a world full of technology it’s pretty easy to lose the idea of what time it is and get caught up in the next episode of your favorite TV SHOW or watch another YouTube video.

Yes, it’s fun!
But it takes a lot from you.

Nowadays everyone is trying to do more and more and more. There is nothing wrong with that, but with this, we take time from our sleep and add them to our working hours. Reducing your sleep time from eight (8) hours to six (6) is probably ok, but let’s be honest – six hours of sleep is a luxury in the 21 century.

It’s proven that sleeping less than six (6) hours actually makes you worse at your work, and if you experience some kind of extra frustration it can lead to health issues. So, when work is so important to us, there is nowhere better to look for answers on how to do it, than the routines of one of the most successful people on planet Earth.

It really depends mostly on you – what your occupation is, how you do your work, how people you work with are working, etc. Let’s look at the Evening Routine of a few successful people.

In an interview, he shared that seven hours of sleep is optimal for him, and for creativity.

2. ELON MUSK

entrepreneur

Elon Musk is one of the – if not the most – visionary people on the planet. The founder of SpaceX, Tesla and the creator of PayPal is the type of person who loves to bury himself in work.

If you are someone who hates going to bed with tech all around him, then this is not for you. When he goes to bed, his smartphone is just a reach away and it’s always on. He is getting around six hours of sleep, which is to lower border.

3. BARACK OBAMA

entrepreneur

The former president of the United States of America – Barack Obama left the Oval Office on 20th January 2017 and the accomplishments that he made during his tenure landed him on a list of the best presidents in U.S. history.

Being the president of one of the biggest nations in the world is not an easy task. Stress filled days, not enough sleep, and regularly having to stay late night working. It’s not uncommon for the president to stay as late as 2 a.m. working

When having the time he enjoys reading a nice book or watches a TV show. For how many hours he sleeps, it really depends on what is going on in the world.
