In the world of fashion, we have seen so many styles of jeans, many of which have been commonly worn by every individual, including you and I. Some of these jeans styles include, the slim fit jeans, skinny fit jeans, regular fit jeans (classic straight leg), tapered fit, and wide fit.

It would interest you to know that the above-mentioned jeans styles can be styled in different ways to suit one’s taste and personal style.

So, in this article, we would be focusing on the topic of creating an outfit twist with your jeans. We’ll be exploring different clothing types you can pair stylishly with your jeans, and some additional tips to guide you when rocking any jeans look, so let’s go!!

Guide to Jeans Styles

First of all, let’s look at the various jeans styles available for men in the clothing industry. Should you be willing to explore other styles than the regular ones you currently may have in your wardrobe, let this serve as a guide and style inspiration.

#1. Palazzo Jeans

This jeans style is characterized by big flair ensembles, usually round at the ankle region. Speaking in terms of comfort and style, this piece checks every box correctly. This style is not for everyone and certainly not for every occasion, but you should definitely add these to your wardrobe collection if you fancy this style.

#2. Regular Fit Jeans

Regular fit jeans are one must-have in every man’s wardrobe. They fit straight from hip to thigh and are perfect for people with average-size bodies – not too thin, not too big.

They give out a stylish vibe when paired correctly with the right footwear and upper body outfit. Note that this style is different from skinny fit, which you’ll see here below at #5.

#3. Ripped Jeans

Ripped jeans or distressed jeans as we like to call them are jeans that are slightly or fully ripped at the knee or thigh region. Now, this jeans style is a classic streetwear statement, and when paired correctly, it gives an ultracasual vibe, as well as adds some class and style to your streetwear look.

#4. Folded Hem Jeans

This jeans style is always folded at the hem of the trouser, majority of these pieces are big and flappy, but they occasionally go well with regular fitted jeans, giving it a casually sophisticated no-break finish.

#5. Skinny Fit Jeans

Skinny jeans are tailored in such a way that they are close-fitting throughout the leg. These jeans are a modern essential, however not everyone fancies this style. If you want to enjoy a sleek close-fit look in your jeans, then skinny jeans are perfect for you. Avoid these style if you are on the plus size.

#6. Tapered Fit Jeans

Tapered jeans are a blend of regular fit and skinny fit jeans. Unlike the skinny fit jeans, these jeans are comfortable near the thigh region, but taper into a slimmer fit down the lower leg down towards the ankle region. For those who enjoy the slim jeans appearance without having to wear skinny fitted jeans, this is the perfect one!

#1. Collared Shirt

A collared shirt is a great pair of a jeans trouser. Styling this, you can wear the shirt tucked into your jean trouser which would have a belt, the first two buttons of the shirt could be left undone for a casually relaxed look. This is illustrated in the first picture above, or you can go for the second/third look.

Now both of these illustrated looks can be alternated from a casual occasion to even a streetwear style.

#2. Oversized shirts

Oversized shirts are great pairs for your jeans style. If you’re going to consider ripped jeans with T-shirts, then you should opt for baggy t-shirts to complete that streetwear vibe.

#3. Sweatshirt

Sweatshirts are great clothing ensembles to pair with tapered fit jeans or regular fit jeans. Finish it off with a classy white sneakers and you are good to go. For during cold weathers you can layer this up by wearing an extra layer of thick clothing over your sweatshirt.

#5. Cuban Collared Shirt

You can definitely complement the Cuban shirt with your jeans style, and trust me it’s perfect as you can see from the picture.

This look is definitely a perfect choice for outdoor activities and you can rock this look either with your standard jeans style, ripped/distressed jeans or even denim shorts for a beach or sun stroll while on vacation. Here, light jeans come into play,

You can wear this shirt tucked or untucked – who cares! as long as you rock it with confidence.
