It’s 4:30 AM in the morning. I am sitting on my desk right now with my laptop, rock music blasting through my headphones, as I pondered the question of what blog topic to write about today. My thought keeps drifting towards How-To-Guide or Style Tips for men.
Oh, no! …I already have over 60 articles under this category alone here on MR KOACHMAN blog, but even if I have to write a new one it has to be something I’ve not shared before on this blog.
But again … what could that be? I think my readers already have a lot of information on this topic. Besides I’ve covered most How-To-Guide and Style Tips that are basic …
Oh! Wait…I think I should do something on how to improve your image and style.
But…wait… isn’t 8 Easy Ways to Greatly Improve Your Image and Style about Image & Style? Of course, it is. What other insights can I share on this topic that isn’t already covered in the article…?
Whew!!! These thoughts keep popping up in my mind.
God Help me!
Appearance = Fashion + Image + Style + Lifestyle
Awesome! Yeah, I made this up right now… Call me a genius!!! KOBI – KOACH!!! MAN!!!
Does this equation make sense to you?
Maybe not, but it sure makes a whole lot of sense to me and I’ll try to clarify just in a bit.
But first, let me google the word “Appearance” just to confirm my thoughts are correct. Give me few seconds.
Okay, I’m back – Yeah I was right:
Appearance: “The way someone or something looks.” [Dictionary]
I found my topic now…Yay!!!
Just as I was about to turn off the music to focus on writing, a new song began to play – It was “Ephinany” by Staind – one of my favorite Alternative metal songs. What a coincident…this was truly an EPIPHANY!
I had to just finish listening to this one…so I let it play!
Ok, so I’ve covered how to improve your image and style before. The Truth is: Improving your fashion sense, image, and style actually improves your appearance … alright? Please stay with me.
But is that really all you need to improve your appearance? I guess NOT. So the missing element is LIFESTYLE.
Making some lifestyle changes can help improve your appearance.
Adding an extra hour each day reaps enormous benefits for your appearance. A healthy person is more attractive than someone who is not. Three (3) aspects of being healthy are getting exercise, eating correctly and drinking a lot of water. Let’s start with the last one, shall we?
#1. Drink water first thing in the morning, right after you wake up.
One of the best things you can do after you wake up: drink at least 60cl of water. Drinking water first thing in the morning immediately helps rehydrate the body and can also help in the following ways:
- Will boost your immune system, prevent headaches, increase your energy levels, flush out toxins, keeps your skin clean and wrinkle-free and generally improve your skin complexion.
- Helps you burn fat, promote weight loss, aids in digestion and make you eat less.
- Helps your body function properly thereby making you feel great, happy and in a good mood all the time.

Those who get out of bed early can squeeze in a workout. Hitting the gym before the sun rises is an excellent way to seize the day. Putting on your casual jumpsuits and starting your meditating in early-morning light is also a way to find peace and self-control.
This habit can boost your productivity and mood. The work out session will wake you up, energize you, and make you feel less stressed and more relaxed.
Who do you think has a better appearance, someone who is relaxed and energized or someone who is tensed and stressed? I’m sure we both know the answer.

#3. Healthy Eating
Getting up early, allows you to eat healthily. Too often, people running late give into the temptation of a doughnut or grab a breakfast burrito from a fast food restaurant.
Extra calories add up fast. That extra hour in the morning can be used to cook a high-protein, healthy meal. The healthy breakfast makes you feel satisfied and curbs cravings during the day.
TIME TO PLAN WHAT TO WEAR
That extra hour means you have the opportunity to spend time on little things that improve your appearance such as ironing your shirt or dress and choosing the perfect shoes and accessories to go with your outfit. You also have time to engage in proper grooming routine, fix your hair, mustache, and beard. And for ladies, to do their facials, apply makeup correctly and choose a nice lipstick.
Fashion Experts suggest having a capsule wardrobe made up of pieces that can be mixed and matched makes the cloth selection process easy. Start with an outwear collection. Some suggestions include suits, denim, t-shirts, belts, blazers, dark jeans, and a couple of button-down dress shirts.
We all want to look our best. It’s a fact. Waking up early is not a magic appearance enhancer, in and of itself. Take advantage of the extra time to become healthier and well put together. An early morning arising can be a Zen experience. It is a time to think, meditate, read, or breathe. You will feel better, and those around you will notice how attractive you are.
